High powered binoculars that are great for spotting birds, especially those that are far out on the water.
I'm a firm believer that you don't have to know anything particular about nature to enjoy it. You just have to look closely. At Lincoln park you'll see little ones with white wedges on their heads, and talkative black ones with the funny shaped orange bills...But if knowing names helps you bond with what you see, or you just want to learn more details about your new friends, we have field guides too!
