This waffle iron makes waffles with classic circus shapes. Who wouldn't have fun eating waffles shaped like lions, elephants, clowns? This waffle iron works well, but the waffles are done to my taste (golden brown) before the light indicates that they are done. Watch the steam coming out of the machine and remove them when they look good to you. Waffles are best when you fill the waffle maker to overflowing and worry about the cleanup afterwards :-/
Waffle making is a fun cooking activity for kids, but please supervise carefully as the iron will be hot on the outside as well as the inside!
